Making a purchase. Buying a book couldn't be easier. Just browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and place them in your shopping cart. When you have finished, click on 'Order' and proceed to our 'Check out'.

We accept all major credit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information by phone, fax, email or over the Internet.

Shipping and handling. For UK orders we charge 3.50 GBP per order, regardless of how many books are ordered. For international orders we charge 4.00 GBP per book by surface mail, and we are happy to quote for other delivery methods if faster or secure delivery is required.

Delivery schedule. It is our policy to ship goods immediately.

Back orders. If your book[s] is [are] not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit card security. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shipping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Privacy policy. New Cavendish Books do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
